Well im here and im lost its is all true the 9 weeks at the mtc for spanish no help.... its crazy they speak so fast here so fast i have no idea what honduras ranks on the fastness for speakers scale put i gaurentee its way high. Anyways after atlanta we got on the plane not a big one pretty small like 25 rows thats it! anyways the ride was super long talked on the plane with people about Honduras all different views oh and while talking on the plane we all had like a lesson with this guy and so he wanted a book of mormon so the one caleb gave me for christmas i wrote my testimony in it wrote it was from my brother for someone who needed it and BAM done deal i guess... anyways so we touched down in honduras no psych slammed down in honduras in the most ghetto airport ive ever seen and the humity hit us its freaking hot here so we went through cuastoms and all then pres veirs and his wife was there to greet us said some hellos then went outside to the bus. And thats when we all relized thats its alot hotter than we all thought. So we threw our luggage on top of the bus and were off driving to the mission home in San Pedro and im not gonna lie i know i am definitly not in the US anymore im pretty sure every car here is stolen because they drive insane!!! in a matter of like 10 mins i saw 2 huge crashes and ya then went to the pres casa ate slept till like 8ish where we then picked up the latinos from guetemala that flew in theyre all pretty cool so that was good. Tuesday went to the office for like trainnig and stuff and also learned in this missioon it is a rule to have a line in your hair, aka comeover so yep sportin it again. Wed came they day of changes and so we all found out who our comps are and where we are going So the whole meeting was in Espanol did not understand a word of it. Then got paired with my comp haha Elder Petersen way tight kid form cedar hills Utah and we are opening an area up! The city is called Cofradia. its up in the mountains anyways after the meeting we took a bus to a bus terminal with the other elders going like 6 hors away when we got to the terminal we went with our luggage to catch a ride up to the area so we had to walk up this hill to the freeway!! or what here is considered the freeway with all luggagein hand ran 4 lanes oh my gosh can you say welcome to Honduras? so we walked down the road a ways until this way old school bus came and picked us up threw all our luggage inside then we had to run to get in. honestly i have no idea why i thought it was empty but it was full and flip the black guy with the foot long finger was scary i have people yelling at me what to do and to move in a language i dont even know anywyas got on the bus and we rode anbout an hour up the canyon then got to where we were getting off stopped they threw our luggage to us and then we had to pull our luggage on a dirt road for about a quarter of a mile or so where we met a member put yep put our luggage in the back of his 1970 mitsibishi truck with no windows no door panels no console no nothin it honestly was a box with wheels and drove to our house. Man this place is very pretty very green but extremely poor! Got to our house and just unpacked because we are both new to the area then went out while we contacted petersen talked while i listened flip right now its not fun at all because honestly i know like gospel word and hings but to have a conversation nope im hopless. man its hard its hot we dont even have a laundry lady right now so we could possibly be washing our clothes in a pila google that its nuts so other than not being able to understand anyone its good we eat and drink fruit everyday in our yard we have a mango tree concunut avocado and orange its sweet made some limeade from fresh squeezed limes so thats sweet. our area is huge we live in the middle of it close to the church dso if you google that you can see it but its like 15 miles by 15 miles aka huge its hot never gets cold ever oh haha some other facts so our house smaller than my room for sure it is one room with a small square in the corner for toilet and shower my shower is a pvc pipe that comes out of the wall and the knob to turn it on is a knob for a garden hose outlet. ahah loco si anyways por favor pray for me i need some help with the languge. Love you all hop i can hear from you next week ill send some pics next week to so yep love you come what may and love it right.... I hope so anyways
Love Elder Clayton
